This is what happens when your reflexes kick in and try to stop an rc plane that is comming at you. For someone to do it on purpose with anything that spins at high rpm is absolutely stupid.

Really Bad

Guy's that bruse is so serious I hope he went for a ultra sound and a sonar too have the blood flow checked in his upper extremity.

If he shattered an aterial and waits: he could be in for a drastic result of the limb. If any one knows him - get it checked ASAP !

this video was absolutely the stupidest thing you would see someone do to a flying heli.

I mean, it left me speechless.

You know how someone HAS to put their fingers in the fan.....or touch the fire, or red hot muffler , etc.....

I once saw someone stick their fingers three , yes, three times, into a running airplane propellor , BEFORE he figured out not to do that.

If someone has this, it has to re-posted.

Yeah... If anyone can find a video of this, it would be great. I posted a thread today about:

http://runryder.com/helicopter/t509878p1/

I am pretty sure the video i have been looking for is this one. If anyone comes up with it, please let us know and post it.

Cheers,
Clint

It is one of the alltime greats.

But, I think it was pulled all over , and from every site it was on.

The guy who is in it was not very proud of it, especially after all the bashing(deservedly so).

He literally gets whacked on the forearm by the blades , after reaching out and grabbing it by the tail at chest level from a hover.

It was in a confined space, small room.

There was an "after " video with it. It was with his padded flannel shirt rolled up, and his arm is hamburger. Simply gruesome.

It really ought to be stickied somewhere as a reminder not to do drugs and fly or be stupid and fly. The definition of Ludite.

The wild part is, he did not scream, grunt or make ANY acknowledgement of the pain when it hit. He just set it down by the tail with the blades folded on his arm.....a testament to the fact that he was mentally impaired,(ludite), or high.

i donno, i bear a scar on my middle finger where i smacked my hand against a sharp corner on a glass school project about five years ago. Laid an inch of my finger nearly to the bone, about 0.7mm wide, probably should have had stitches, didn't even know i did it until half an hour later when my hand felt wet for some odd reason...

the body is weird about pain sometimes. a papercut hurts like its a severed limb, but a nasty gash doesn't even trip any nerves.
