Here is the start of a new and improved Las Vegas Fun Fly.

We have been trying to put on a great event every year for everyone. This year is going to be a Competition with $20,000.00 in money given away to the top pilots. As I have more information on the Competition part I will post it here.

Ok, Now for dates:
Competition will be held March 19 - 21 2008.
Fun Fly will be held March 21 - 23 2008.

There will be more deltails on the Competition part after all the brochures and details are set.

It will be great to see all of you here in Las Vegas agian.

More information will be on this site too.

Rockcopter 2008 Event

The Competition will be

50/600 Masters
50/600 Advance
500 Masters
500 Advance

There will be 2 flights a day pre pilot.
One flight to music of pilots chooses.
One flight to unknown maneuvers. Pilots will know all maneuvers before coming but will not know which ones will be preformed that day.

You always have the best run and well attended event around and if you add money !well money make everything better. One big question Will there be a SCALE event.

Guys the dates for the FF is Easter weekend the cost to travel will be to high plus being away for the Easter weekend is a hard call to make.

I am sorry some of you do not like the dates but these are the only dates we can use.

Las Vegas is a place everything is going on all the time. We have to pick the dates that are available to us here in Las Vegas.

We know this year it will be on Easter but the next years it will not be on Easter.

We have been trying to bring a computation here in Las Vegas for some time but the dates were all ways conflicting with some other event out there or here in Las Vegas.

We have set the dates and they are not going to change.

I hope to see you all here to have fun with us and be able to watch the best pilots and not so best to compete. There is a lot of money the vendors are going to give away to the winners. ($20,000.00)

We are working on a way to give some helicopters a way too.

Wow... I just checked and plane tickets are expensive around that time (over $500 bucks from the states -- already won a heli kit by not going?). Imagine how much its going to cost the international guys. At least the dollar is down the tubes so it might be cheaper for the euro pilots.

I'm actually glad it's later in the year... the last couple LVFFs were in Feb and the weather was always overcase and a large chance of showers.

I definitely want to try to make it out this year... any thoughts on doing a raffle drawing?
