My Posts This: Topic Forum | if your flying a camera heli then a slower momentum is required .. full 55+gm paddles in addition to weights is ok .. don't go overboard on the weights , you'll only need two of them at the ends .. go for the 720mm, 220+gm rotor blades as this will make for a steady machine .. you see what I'm driving at .. when it comes to on board camera's you need a slow steady heli ..
what you can do is to add additional gyros. to augment the pitch, roll, and yaw tail headings while filming .. making for a more stable platform .. you will also need to reduce swashplate travel , and cg the machine accordingly ..
a video heli needs to be predictably slow and solid in a straight line at height , slow rotor at 1250-1400 rpm .. the longer the blades the slower and better it will fly . as far as autos go - the longer blades with enertia will save your machine ..
