I could use a little help with this.
I wish to rebuild my Venon NR3D, the learning curve for me was difficult.
My reason for doing all this work is a constant vibration, very short fly time,
Blade tracking way off and un adjustable
What I need is some specs and/or advise.
1…Replace tail rotor and motor…..Easy enough to do but how close should the 2 gears mesh? (any back lash ?)
2…The Head came loose and the 2 little pins are loose and don’t stay very well in the head anymore, when replacing the head at what height should I set the aluminum head block to start.
3…all my linkages, ball / socket joint are all loose, what are the default linkages length.
4…Lastly one of my servo linkage is on the verge of breaking, I can simply could the treads but I would like to set it up like new from start,

head block

i just realized that the head block only fits at one place due to the flat spot on the shaft, all i need then is the missing little pin

Hey Benoit,

Lets see if I can help you.I would start with a new VENF-7716 SEE SAW HOLDER,VENF-7714 PUSHROD ASSEMBLY this will get you close to or near to factory spec.You will need one set screw for the head block, Also check your main rotor blades for cracks or torn blade covering this will bring on vibrations also check if main shaft VENF-7726 is bent,replace it if bent,Also check fly bar VENF-7711 if bent replace it if it is,All this will make you NR3D vibrate. If you need any more help PM me.
