I just want to say thanks to CC and Buzzsaw(Dave)for a great event. Had a fantastic time,great hospitality,good food and excellent flying site. A special thanks to Bobby Watts for giving all the great help and info,plus that off the charts flying of his. I espically liked the inverted blade stops(including many others). Everyone had a great time. Did I mention all the great giveaways. Cant wait for next year. Thanks also goes out to ez2bgman,for putting up with me and myrcos all weekend(thanks again bud).

For those that missed it,you should plan to do it next year.

I too had a great time. Dave and the rest of the CCRCC crew did a fantastic job preparing the field and running the event. The food was excellent (especially the Jumbalaya on the Sat.

). The shirts were very nice and at a very reasonable price.

Thanks to Scott at www.Cajunhelicopters.com for bringing all those parts that several guys needed.

A special thanks goes to Rusty, from www.rjxofusa.com, and Clyde, from Team RJXofUSA, for all their help getting my Xtreme 50 back together after it had a meeting with terra firma.

Kyle and Eric (aka Myrcos) thanks for supporting our fun fly all the way from Houston. You guys are welcome to stay with me anytime.

It was a real pleasure watching Bobby Watts demo his MA Stratus, Bandit 50, and Bandit 450. I still cannot believe how low to the ground the Bandit 50 was when Bobby pulled out of that super high tail slide. It had to be about 6" off the grass.

Mike (aka inspot) it was good to see you flying again. Your flybarless 600N was flying very well. Nick, good to see that you guys got your Synergy back up and flying great.

Thanks again guys for a great event. It can only get better from here.

Ripp'n it on the River

Thanks for a great event and inviting us at RjX to be apart. it is going to be one of our yearly events, Oh the trip down town was a great addition to the trip, although it put us 3 hrs behind our 12 hr drive due to a needed extended sleep allowance....

it was well worth it.
I would like to thank everyone of the Club members and anyone else who helped to pull this off, you guys really did a great job. Dave tell Sherry, Debbieand I had a great time and we plan on a longer trip next time around.

RIPP'IN IT ON THE RIVER 2008

Wow!,what can I say,I guess all good things have an ending.
At about 6:45 P.M.Sunday Mar 30th The 2008 Ripp'in It on the River Heli Fun Fly ended after three days of all out fun and freindship.As a 2nd year CD for this event,I just see it getting better each year.I still cannot believe how well this event went even with the afternoon shower's we got.We do have alot of folks to thank for all of there support and making this all happen.

We give a very special thanks to the Rodrique Family for providing us a great place for our club with unlimited flying area and the fantastic Facility we have on it.
