It looks very nice but not very crash worthy. Lets face it they all go in sooner or later. Add to the fact that the CNC frames don't look like they will be economical to replace and prone to breakage/bending in a crash makes me say that this heli is certainly very nice and looks very light but I would need to see the cost of replacement parts and hear some stories of how well it has done in some crashes before I would consider buying it.

Perhaps you are right, too new to know how well they crash.
I have yet to fly this one myself, hoping to get that done by Christmas.
I have no idea on chassis costs as its yet to be released officially, so no pricing.
However all the head parts are the smae thing as Gohbee 90, so you can check the pricing for that easily enough.
Belt driven tail may upset some 90 guys, but I like it for the crash costs.
I know Im gonna dork it in, but I dont want to be worrying about torque tube costs for no, even though we all know TT is better.
It does feel very light, will try and get a weight next week.

If the price is right they will buy it. They should offer a torque tube option for those that want it. If the frame is affordable and crashworthy they will be golden.
The other thing that the manufacturer needs to do is get the heli in the hands of someone "hot" who is up & coming but not yet sponsored and have him throw it around at some high profile events/funflys. This costs some money but is worth it in the long run. If a manufacturer is willing ot do this it lets the rest of us know they are serious about getting the product out there. If they don't do this there are usually some doubts about the commitment of the manufacturer and parts support. This can all be untrue but it is a fact of the R/C heli business. There are a lot of helis out there for us to choose from and they are all pretty good so we need a reason to pick this heli other than the fact that it is new.
My 2 cents

It seems a copy of the Revolution model from Heli-Profesional. A cheap copy I must say.

Is there a life outside the sim?

Actually only the frame and gearbox are similar to the Revolution heli.
The head and tail grips are their own, and they have had these for quite a few years now.

Hmmm, not crazy about the servos in the back, and the main gear is gigantic.

Its the tz90III-3d.
manual here. Design seems pretty ok, but a crash on this is not going to be cheap even for a china made helicopter. Looking at the few plastis piece around the land gear mount to the frame, it seem the frame might survive crashes. Don't really like the engine placement, seems pretty certain to at least bent a few fins in a crash.
