Okay, we need to clear a couple of things up here.
First of all, the lenses are de-centred. This means that the curvature of the lenses is actually calibrated out so that you do not get distorted vision. Now, this works unless you have a strong prescription that's greater than plus or minus 4.00. Above that level, our eyewear will not be suitable.
the other thing to watch out for is your pupilar distance - we sell mail order prescriptions here in the UK now, and we had a few problems caused by my own ignorance of how important PD is. Basically, the vast majority of people have a distance between their eye pupils that's in the average bracket of 60 - 65mm. However, some are not, and if that's the case, the optical company adding the lenses need to know the exact PD. If you are not in the average bracket, the PD is usually written on your prescription card - if you're average, it probably won't be there at all. Just something to watch out for!
We have a very high success rate with these glasses, and I hope you're not put off by a very few people who have experienced difficulties. The fact is, if they were as bad as some people are saying in this thread, we'd have packed up selling them a long time ago. The vast majority of our customers are more than satisfied, and for the ones that aren't, we do our best to sort out any issues that arise. |
