Hey 2pac happy new year. Sorry to hear about your field dart. I bought my first gasser last year. I am building my second gasser now. I made my spectra gasser a field dart last summer after only about twenty flights.I like the idea of only having to charge the tx and go fly. I have a raja generator on it and love it. Maybe we can get this camper fuel thing figured out.

I already did and never look back...I use a regular fuel on the other one but not happy and also not that much difference in power between the 2 ...Like what i said..I Dont like the smell of the gas around me so am sticking with the camper...I love flying and flying my gasser is one of them no ignitor, extra plug, starter, big ole box to carry around and most of all, No fuel smelling car...We have our own preferences and i prefer to have my gasser inside the house and in my computer room...

I'm sticking with white gas myself. I've ran regular gas with a decent fueling system and I can still smell it in the house or the car...wherever the heli may be.

2Pac...stick with the 2 1/4 oz per gallon until this summer, get some time on the motor and then drop to 2 oz per gallon. See you at the field this year.

2Pac,

What do you mean "Both of my gasser has a closed in vent for the tank."?

You said you run "Coleman" brand fuel. So it runs "OK"...I have heard some say they run it. I guess if its all I can get, I will give it a try when the weather breaks. It was a high of 15 deg here in Southern Ohio today! No flying for awhile. This is building weather!

Sensai,
Its been a while since i heard from you... Didnt get much of flying time since Thanksgiving...They said it will be nice this weekend so am hitting the field. Will just take one of the gasser see how it flies with the 710 on a 105 blade combo..However, I'm still on the 2 1/4 oz. gal. mixture. Still have little less than a gallon left..I was thinking of mixing 2 oz after this gal. which is i think would be a long gallon since its been nasty out there cold and snow with gusting wind..I hope it'll get better soon...

The vent on my tank is routed with a T filter system..Its like a key to open a corned beef can...Never have a problem with the setting..Christopher J Set my first gasser and the fuel we use was a coleman..He liked it..I used it ever since and never had a problem. I dont know if theres a big diff. between types of camper fuel but it doesnt show to me..Plugs look good, piston and rings looks clean also. It fires up 1 pull all the time so I could not say more...
