I wish that were true (I get paid in Euros) but I think you meant Pounds and not Euros.

Just curious how BLITZ can bring the AVRO out onto market so fast.

Vibe, Synery and Aurora took ages.

What's the secret?

I know TT and Align are supported by big corporations and they have big factories. Same for Hirobo.

well yapjy you got the wrong end of the stick it seems.

I've been told that Avro was in development for 4 years, just that they've been discrete about it so as not to generate anticipation and then to fail on releasing it when they said they would release it, which is exactly what is happening to the Aurora.

Also model helicopters is a side business to these large corporation anyway (with maybe the exception of Thunder Tiger). I personally think anyone can start a model operation if they had the proper research and money invested (just look at MA), but all that is a topic for another thread. There are too many helis out there anyway.

I spent a little time chatting at the Avro stand with some friends of mine at the masters, what a nice guy and a nice heli.

It was obvious that a great deal of thought and effort has gone into this heli there are some lovely design features on it.

I wish the Avro team all the luck success they deserve.

Not fair at all.why do you folk all get one and i don't? I think it looks great but I'll never have the money for it.unless.............hmmn should i rip out the engine pipe, blades and radio gear from my millenium and put it into a blitz avro.........this may be a possibility.

Wow, what a nice helicopter! Killer price for those of us in the US, though. Given the belt drive, an electric conversion shouldn't be hard to acheive at all.
