I am considering building a 105 but want to convert it to electric.
I already have an Agusta 109 60 powered and so am familiar with Graupner mechs.

Can i ask any of you who have converted glow models to leccy what your opinions are ?
Do you get good flight times and power ?
Are they reliable (or as reliable as glow)

Tim, i saw your model at Charmouth but never managed to catch yuo yourself. Can i ask you what you thought of your conversion and was it what you expected.

If there is anybody else out in Graupner Land who has an electric 105 i would appreciate any feedback before i commit to the project.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		Hi Sje141, I have had great success with my conversion.The flight times should be around 19min's for normal scale flight.I have only flown for 10mins on the timer,but it only draws half of the amps out of the battery.This is with a head speed of 1500,if you put the head speed up to 1650 I'm sure you would still get 10mins of aerobatic flight.

The only problem with these conversions is that they are very expensive.This makes it very difficult to sell.Even the shop where I bought mine from wouldn't even help me sell mine! Even though I had spent over £2000 building it!!

If you intend buying new I would go for Vario as they seem to be alot more popular.But if you are interested in a second hand one PM me and I will give you some details.

"sje141", I'm not trying to cut in to your post but I'm looking to build a BO 105 also. I'll be useing Trex 600 N or E. Anyone know where I can find one in the 50 class?

I'd like to paint scheme them "Red Bull" and or the Military "PAH-1"

Any help or links would be greatly appriciated.
