Mode 1

I didn't count how many mode 1's were, but I'd guess all the Asian's fly mode1.

2.4G

"Can 2.4G radio now be accepted in WC event?
I saw Curtis's e-heli using 2.4G receiver in some pictures."

Yes, Curtis, Scott and Itou flew with new JR 9CH 2.4G radio.

People in Poland were not familiar with 2.4G system, and had hard time to convince them more than one 2.4G systems can transmit without interference. They would not let us transmit 2 transmitters par flight line.

let's have a photo of that vase then. Good for putting in . . . . erm, dead glow plugs I guess.

Didn't they hand out clogs one time to the junior pilots at a European some years back?

Oh, what kind of laptops (make, model) did Ito get? My guess is a Sony. If it's a Dell then yuck. . . . they're nice technically but Dell's got no style.
