I'm in the market for 2x 5s 5000mah for my maxi joker CameraShip, what do you guys think the ATs will perform like on a long low Amp draw for AP hovering. I'm looking for longer flight times and durability.

I've only got a few tests under my belt, but I can get 10 minutes with easy flying and still have 15% in reserve, so I think these might work great for you. Long term is the question and only time will tell.

Lee

just got my AT 6S5000 pack, and out of the box it was .046 volts out of balance from the highest charged cell to the lowest... I didn't fully charge the pack because of the severe imbalance and it is currently plugged into my hyperion balancer until it gets into balance... not a good sign out the gates, but I guess I'll find out if it stays in balance (once it becomes balanced...)..

have just bought 2 packs for the 600.

My 2 packs were about 0.2 volts out of balance and the TP balancer had a hard time evening it out, actually I cut the charge a bit short to get to test them, so still not 100% balanced.
Did 5 minutes only on them for a first flight.

Still some unbalance before 2nd charging but this had evened out at the end of that charge. Plugged in the balancer after 2nd flight, 1 pack in perfect balance, the other needed minor adjustments.

So far this is looking very good I and think my E620 will finally be getting fed in not to long

Anyone got any experience of their 5000mah 10S packs.
Got a 3DMP and an E-Raptor that I would like to try them out on, but they are 350gms heavier than my flightpower 10s 3700 packs, and I'm not sure how that will affect flight.
Let me know your findings

Has anyone here tired the 5000 pack in a Mikado 500? Will it fit, how about balance?

Flight counts anyone? Flight counts with performance decrease?

I need to purchase 2 more 6s lipos for my 600CF. I found TP 5000's on sale for 269.00. I have been holding out for the AT flight count in the 200+ with still good performance reports.

I have 25 no one of mine and it has only gottin' better
the other 2 are new with less then 5 flights on them. I don't think anyone will have 200= flights on one yet but the TP are only good for 100-150 so why are you looking for the AT to out fly and out last the TP if they out fly and last just as long does that not make them better?

I was told the 5000 TP's are possible for 200-250 flights. I only have about 30 on each of mine.

if they are cared for and never overdischarged. and you don't overheat them then they "can" go 200-250 but most (TP&EVO)paks start to drop off at the 100-150 mark and are dead dead at 200-250 I hope to get 100-150 out of the AirThunders and with no worries about overdischarge I will be very happy.just buy one you will sell all the other guys and load up with AirThunders I did and I am very happy with the envestment. best bang for my buck.

what do you mean low I put 4500 into mine and it's fine the AirThunders have no limit to how much you can take out.If you want to fly it till it drops then do it you can't over discharge the packs and the will not puff on you I myself try to keep to 85% and that 4400 that's just about right. go AirThunders.

Mmm, statement was overdischarged every flight, then 4400mah.
When I overdischarge (around 2.9v per cell or so) mine I put back around 4900

What charger / balancer are you guys using and is the mAh you're reporting what it says at the end of the charge on that charger?

I havent had any balancing issues with my 5000 pack yet. Some of my 3s 2200mah packs need to balance a little more and the balancer burns off some of the mah the charger is putting in, so at the end of the charge my charger says that it put in 2400mah on a 2200mah pack. Its just the balancer burning the mah off the the fully charged cells until the other cell catches up,which is usually cell #2...
