I was having a very close look at the box and contents at the masters and it looks great, but i did manage to ask that question that everyone has been asking "WHEN WILL IT BE RELEASED?" well to be shocked i was told straight away with out a flutter that being it was a US made heli that the US wanted to be the first to release it and its been scheduled for release at the IRCHA in a couple of week.
Like Nick said, there have been enough rumors to float a battleship. IRCHA makes a lot of sense, but I want to hear the words out of Augusto's mouth. He is the proverbial "horses's mouth" in this case. Basically what he says goes and that is about it when it comes to anything Avant.
I seriously doubt them being available for sale at Ircha. I could be wrong, but it seems that the retailers already have the sales booked up...The thing is, if you don't get it first batch or second batch, big deal, pretty soon I think it'll be available to anyone who wants it without a wait.
Went on Saturday to a wet & very muddy 3D Masters.
The UK dealers Midlands, Revolution Models, & Fastlad Performance all had kits to show. I have touched one & they do exist! The box is tiny, about the size of my first Hirobo shuttle box! Every part is well packaged & the printing on the bags is neat. The story I heard was that they were just missing the tail blade grips, which had to be changed to fix a problem with the moulding.
