hmm, well if they kill themselves, i guess i wont buy one, i was looking into them, ironicly because they advertise the strong frame design..

Well after seeing some of these pics on crashes, I don't feel too bad after crashing my Mini Titan on my third hover w/o training gear. I only broke a mixing arm. But this not include the 2 times the blades hit the boom, 4 sets of blades, feathering spindles and a main shaft. Learning was costly. But I will keep learning. I love this hobby!

Did I catch that you were SERIOUS that you were mad about the crash breaking the frames and the rest of it? I'm just guessing, but you take a plastic Raptor and stuff it in nose first, you would get similar results. This thing is made to fly, not crash. It clearly looks like a nose first crash. The carbon frames are lighter, and stiffer, but they aren't going to take a high speed impact any better than a plastic frame.

Did you all notice how flexy the top half of the heli is when you grab the head and shift it side to side? Don't know if that's good or bad.

I really wonder about some peoples thought processes:

"I'm not going to buy a 600N because when you slam it into the ground at 60mph it breaks. What a sh!t design."

If you think this isnt going to happen to other helis, think again! I dumb thumbeb my Titan into the ground totalled 3 servos, reciever, battery, gov, blades, frame, main shaft, spindle, tailcase etc etc etc. Dollar for dollar the same crash on a 600N would cost around 40% less.

Some people need to get a life. Yes, a heli will break if crashed, and the harder the crash, the more damage there will be, get over it!!

Honey, I just need this one more thing and then I'm set..

That sucks! Dont leave out starting over with a used heli. I bought a used knight sport for $175 airframe only and its said to fly just as good as the 600N. Pick a new one up for $260. I swear the frame feels like you could stand on it without buckling, landing gear aside.

Learning to hit Throttle Hold instead of trying to regain control can be of less damage.

I did get the throttle hold, could you imagine what it would've been like if I didn't?

Better to have tried and failed than to never have tried at all!!

I feel you, I too had a pretty good stuffin' this weekend when my tail let go in a Tic-Tic. Besides the usual (stripped gears, boom, frame, head parts, etc) I also lost a two week old set of V-Blade TST's...

Your little episope takes the cake from what I have seen on here so far. I was flying over some pretty tall grass when mine went in, there was deffinatly some cushioning effect. Personally I really do not se too much of a difference between crashing on dirt as compared to crashing on pavement. Niether one is going to give a lot as you unfortunatly found out.

It is pretty hard to get over a crash like that for the first few days, but you will begin to rebuild faster then you think. Just grab the credit card and the vasaline...
