I am getting ready to install a set of SuperSkids, HH gyro and a DD tail on my Cp-Pro. I thought I would do a kind of a ground up build, using a new main frame since I am a bit of a NEWB and my heli has taken a few bumps and bangs. I was thinking an aluminum boom might be cool. I was looking on eBay and Heli-Direrct. The booms on Heli-Direct are 2 inches shorter than stock. The ad says the shorter boom makes the CP more responsive. Is this a good idea for a rooky? I can get an aluminum boom on eBay that is stock length. What do you think?
