Flew yesterday afternoon 5-6 tanks Loops rolls and general flitting about. I was fueling for my "last flight" when my buddy said "hey one of your ball links has popped off". Sure enough one of the Hiller control links had broken the screw which attached the ball and standoff to the arm that attaches to the flybar. I had flown with only one attached. This is a Concept 60 SRII with about 45 gal. or so through it. I wonder if the screw fatigued off because it was slightly loose in the arm or if this is a weak point? I will change both and maybe "time" change them in the future.

Maybe it's because the heli is something like 15 years old and has 45 gallons of fuel through it.
