Alright kids. Been waiting to see some good Video of QWW products being punished or just out for lazy afternoon flight. These machines appear to be well built and I have been monitoring this Forum for 6 months but simply have not seen hardly any video.

So, your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to get out the video recorder (everybody has one), film QWW birds in their natural habitat, and post them HERE!!!

I have posted a video or 2 of my SW16 being lightly thrown about. I am working on getting a video out of my ND90 the weather here in cali has been crap during the weekends when i try to go fly.

Well i was hoping to fly this weekend and as luck would have it, it rains again. Seems like the only good time to fly is during the week.

Soon irwin we will get some decent weather during the weekend....i hope

Actually the 50 has a better power to weight ratio then the 90...
It really is terrific machine.

There are vids in the forum of Curtis flying the 50 last summer.

Thats the only video of it i've evre seen! And it's fairly old. I was actually gunna buy that EXACT machine, but the seller and I couldn't come to terms on the price he stated. Plus, the video isn't that great of quality.
I will probably end up buying one and making some video myself!

I dodn't know the power to weight ratio was that impressive!!

yah the power to wieght on almost any 50 size machine is better then a 90. But 90's are just plain cool.

I promise guys, video's of my 90 are coming soon. it looks like the weather may let up today, and if thats the case i will be out flying

Not too push any buttons but where is you're video? Getting good video is not as easy as it looks.
Part of my problem was for the last 2 months it would rain on the weekend. now things are starting to clear up. I should beable to get video this sunday of my nd90.

I understand the need of video, but hold thy horses.

aerial video flight test

this is a flight from yesterday.
attached with velcro under the frame of my quick ep ten (445mm sab blades) there's a standard (250gr circa) nikon coolpix.
For the test i increased to more than 2100 rmp the rotor speed but with all athat weight the heli react very slowly, controls are not crisp but slow, descents are scary, allmost full picth to stop.
I have very bad vibrations that with the standard setting for throttle were near to null. Probably it's too high and anyhow i think is always related to the lightweight raptor poaddles i installed times ago. Definitely too much weigt, but today i'll have another test with lower headsopeed and aligter camera (150 grams circa).

another onboard video, much much better

this one was made with a lighter camera and lower headspeed. no vibrations.
smooth as silk! The heli performed much better, the lower weight made it fly like if it was without additional weight.

Listen Irwin, i would like to get the longer tail kit for this heli, to mount wider blades.
Do you think the actual setup will work?
Battery is 5s, motor has the smallest pinion avilable (10T) and it's a 1500KW motor (kontronik mambo15).

Alright Kids....550 views, and all we have seen is Bertha and the Italian Countryside. Love both but need to see you pick up the camera and film your Quicks. At this point I am leaning toward a gasser of some sort so see if you can post some vids of those.

Irwin, put a camera in somebody's hand and film a bird OK? There are lots of pilots that would like to see the same. Back me up boys.
