Had my maiden flight today, and a couple more besides. Flies very well. You guys are right...it is fast on 4S. My setup:

Kora 15-14
24T pinion
CC60 running governor at about 2600
no-name 3.5amp BEC
HS-85MG's on cyclic
4S3850 TPX
Heldirect 68mm CF tail blades
Stock Hirobo main blades
MJP stretched fins, lift kit, esc mount
401/9253 with custom fitting to hold one end of the 9254
Futaba 138DP RX

I didn't have the tail dialed in and it didn't hold real well on the punch-outs, but I tweaked it when I got back. I think it will hold better next time out.

Several more flights yesterday. Have upped the headspeed to about 2700. Flies very well, but getting a slight tremor in the tail at hover. I plan to up the headspeed a bit more, but am also considering replacing the boom supports with modified (shortened) supports from a Trex 600 and ditching the ball links for screws on the supports. Anybody tried this already?

What's the length of that EP-Concept blade that you used? I was thinking about using the QJ-8 tail blade.

I get to test my 6S Lepton yesterday. Pretty decent power on 2 Align 3S packs in series. 5 min in the air and seems have extra reserve left. Actualy 6 min an 16sec when I had it back on the ground. Well within the amph rating of 16C Align pack when I had it hook up to a watt meter. Right around 26A peak when pumping the collective at hover. 3.75V per cell after flight. Motor is barely reaching 130*F and the packs not even over 120*F.

I think I will just get me 2 TP 2200 3SX. A little heavier than Align, but lighter than 3000mah and above. That maybe the reason it's performing well, even at only 2600RPM.

I'm almost done with my Lepton. I ordered the carbon boom supports from Rick's. They have the Blue aluminum ends and are in stock for $25. I filed the ends where they connect to the Horz fin so they and flatter and used the Horz fins hardware for mounting to the fin. At the frame connection, I had to space them out to get clearance for the lift kit. They look sweet!!
