My Posts This: Topic Forum | After reading reviews and comments on a couple of forums and thinking it over I purchased A hurricane 550 from A guy in Canada off E-bay. the kit contains only the motor, kit and blades, I imagine woodies. I have a align 75a T-Rex 600 E.S.C. and a Ultimate BEC, 3a 5.1v output 5.1~35v input so I think I will be OK. from what I have read the Align ESC runs most efficiently in this bird. I will be using servos that came with my new DX7 that has not even come out of the box yet 401 gyro and will eventually get a 9254 to go with it. Should I use a TP3cell 900mah that I have for the U-BEC or is that too small? The U-BEC will handle the voltage but I am not sure the mah. is big enough. Or, should I hook it directly to the main power? Any how I will let everyone know how things go

So far I have through bolted all the control links,lengthened them, Put a much longer screw in the tail control lever it just seemed wimpy. using 500mm mikado logo blades narrower cord Getting solid 8 min flights with room to spare. I just did a 6 min idle up full blast batteries warm not hot and I am charging the batteries now will see how it did. Unfortunately I have not been able to fly much because of work
