This hobby is a money pit because it is an addiction. It wouldn't be expensive if we all flew Humming Birds. But, NOooo... We have to have T-rexes, Furys, Raptors and Avants. Then we have to bling them out. Our helicopters wear more jewelry than we do!

I wouldn't drop RC even if it cost twice what it does. It's the best pastime I've ever come across, and I've come across quite a few. Dirt bikes? Came and went. Street bikes? Came and went. Boating? Came and went. 4-wheeling? Came and... well, I'm not quite done with that. RC? Only just begun.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		I have a buddy in Southern Cali that spent thousands of $$ every year on season tickets for the Angels and thousands more on Mighty Ducks season tickets. Imagine if there was still a football team in the LA area! Add to that all the food and drinks at the park/arena! Now he wants to get an RV for tailgaters. Makes helis seem real cheap. I can by Avants for each member of the family with all the money he's spent on season tickets and peripheral stuff in the past two years. Fly helis and throw in a cheap camping trip here, a beach trip there, and a fishing trip here and you have a well rounded family. Just make sure all the other stuff fall on days that you can't fly anyway! (or just bring the helis)

Without helis', we could be at the bar, chasing skirts, staying out all night, fighting with mama, Going to jail for assault, so, Helis ain't quite that expensive. heheheheheheheheOnly average 100.00 a week in the flying season, Damn it man, we are living right.
