How bought a screen that you can easily see and you dont have to be tilting the Tx or bringing it to your face so close just to see what your doing. Mabe a back lit display. Also keep the rolling selector like the 9303 has.

I would really like to see 2048 resolution and servo speed compensation during elevator inputs for 120 deg eCCPM setups.

YES! Back lit screen! That would of made the 9303 almost perfect.

Hi,

Here's my suggestion:

* Mixing to throttle should not overdrive the throttle
servo past the ATVs. Only the top of the line transmitters
from each manufacturer fix this. It seems to be such a
simple thing to fix in software and such a necessity
for not damaging servos. Warnings are not even given
in manuals about the risks of mixing on such radios.

We know the work around is to always set up your
throttle servo to need 150% travel, but that's
a mechanical hack for a minor software deficiency,
effectively slows the throttle response and makes it
a pain to add/remove or enable/disable a governor.

I also agree that activating your timer on throttle
stick is really useful for electric models in
particular.

Andrew.

Use Bluetooth technology so model settings can be copied amongst transmitters.

Instead of bluetooth why not use the 2.5ghz frequency to communicate between transmitters to copy settings? That would reduce costs because the hardware to do that is already there.

The Rudder D/R is the same as the default thr-hold switch location (top right). The only way to get a rudder reduced rate (in heli mode)is to use the auto D/R flight mode setup and use say St-1 for reduced rudder,or choose another thr hold switch location other than the top right
I fully agree. Rudder DR isn't usable unless you move the hold switch.

We want fully asignable A/E/R d/r siwtches! it's BS the only rudder DR is on the top right!

They did it on the Dx6, and forgot on the Dx7!

I could free up a whole switch (alot on a 7ch tx!) if I could move aileron and ele dual rate to one switch. Then I could have my kaos dual rudder rate back to what is now the elevator d/r switch.
Kind of bunk how I have to use two flight modes to do so now, and that it could cause me to accidentally switch into normal mode while coming out of a kaos.

also, along with being able to asign the timer to the throttle stick, it would be nice to be able to asign it to the flight mode switch, so when you flick idle up, the timer starts counting (like on my 12Z)

Every detail counts!

I would like fully asignable switches. Any switch can be assigned to any function and any fucntion can be defaulted on or off. Airtronics has had this for 10 years.

In addition to what has already been posted I would like to see these features:

Feature1. Firmware upgradable via software download, If this was an option I would still be able to use my DX6 but I had to upgrade to a DX7 to be able to fly my TRex SE.

It would be great if Spektrum would provide an option to send in our DX6 TX to be upgraded with the new DSM2 software and possibly the new left/right folding antenna

Feature2. 2.4Ghz wireless Buddy Box connection. I am going to be teaching 4H kids how to fly and if my son is any indication that cable is going to continue to get in the way.

just a thought

I know the modules are on the way... and it might be advantageous to hold back a DX9 until the module craze is over..but please don't hold up any DX9 Radio...folks like me are waiting for it!

design the case so that the CG of the transmitter is right between the sticks (mid-point) - e.g. relocate the TX battery on the DX7 to the top of the case.

And, if it hasn't been stated yet - THROTTLE CUT BUTTON. The Throttle trim recovery rarely works for me - technique issue for sure, but very annoying.

(1) The two stubby antennas that come out of the rxs are brittle and will bend back and break far too easily. Either some sort of rubber re enforced cone at base of them or something should be looked into, this is a big rant for many.
Found a good fix for this..
use some "hot melt glue" AKA hot glue gun and spread the glue around the antenna. When it dries you get an effective "rubber cone" around the base that doesn't fall off, yet isn't permanent
(can be peeled off)

Every detail counts!

would like to see all Spectrum receivers accomodate all type servo connections. I don't think it is cool that I would have to cut the tabs off my Futaba servo connectors or cut notches in the receiver case for that combo to work. AR7000 receiver is an example.

I think Futaba should have to change to work with the rest of the manufacturers. Every other manufacturers plugs work with anyone else, even plug into a Futaba Rx.

Futaba is the odd man out here.
