sorry here is the question then =

Hi All

I have a Synergy with a Logictec 6100t Combo in it and when i piro left or right then stop i get a bounce in both directions. Not a crisp stop like to futaba and csm gyro's.

Servo arm is set to 16mm with a gain of 50% in heading lock mode. The gyro is not wagging in Fast forward flight and engine is running smooth with no vibe's on machine.

Os 91 Szh = Low needle = as from OS at 12 o'clock
Mid Needle = 4 clicks from cloed
High Needle = 7/8's from closed
Fuel is wildcat 20 % helimix

Gyro is in 3D mode not f3c,When it was in F3C mode it was worse. Reciever is in futaba mode and Smoothing is set to defult with no binding either direction.I have a -40% expo on rudder both ways to calm the tail round center in each flight mode.

Any Ideas guy's, would be really great if u have any experiences with this set up and advise on this

Also what gain is everyone running on there 6100t's ?

Thanks

Ade

Not familiar with that gyro but do you have any delay set for starting and stopping?

Ade, I tried one out on my friend's T-Rex 600 over the weekend. I know that it isn't the same as the N9, but the gyro/servo combo seemed to perform well. I will get his set up tomorrow and post it.

These are my friend's settings. He hasn't tweaked it at all because it worked so good with close to standard settings:

gain- 65% high, 45% low
center trim-0
end point-100%-100%
flight mode- F3C
performance-standard
Smooth control-7%

Did you have to modify the tail thrust bearings in this kit?

The gyro sensor needs mounting at the rear of the main shaft, have you put it in this position?? or up front!!

Hello ADE

I have mine mounted in the rear. No tail bounce. There was a wag problem with mine but that was due to oversize thrust bearings in the blade grips. Is your Torque tube with the hexes on either end straight. Take it out of the Tail boom and spin it on the table. Your hexes might not be true. Could be causing excess vibrations. Just an idea.

Cheers

Ade 110% this is your problem, especialy if you run a decent size battey pack up front and depending on how ridgid the tape used to hold the sensor down is, the issue is alot of mass woking as one against the G10 mont plate at the front of the heli resulting in movment on hard stops, no doubt some setups will be fine depending on gain ect but it's well worth isolating the sensor from this environment

Hi Ade

As others have already said, try mounting the sensor at the back of the model, my proto model had it at the front to start with and going to the rear mount made a noticable difference to the performance of the 611.
Although the Synergy is a rigid design there is still a little flex on the radio tray.

Cheers
