Very cool! There's nothing like that around here. They made some noise about putting turbines off the barrier island just south of us, but the locals pitched a fit. I haven't heard anything about it lately.

Well, the turbines aren't cheap. You wouldn't think Indiana would be a likely place, but that shot is part of a farm of 87 wind turbines. Looked like there were more to be installed. Each one can power 600 average homes though at 1.5mw a piece. Just need wind or, uh, they are really REALLY expensive fan blades.

"Were the turbines operating when you fired the pano? If so does it make stitching tricky?"

I'd say half were not spinning, but Smartblend took care of the ones that were moving. Two turbine blades had snapped/delamed the night before which was crazy to see.
