For all you Caliber 30 owners who want aluminum blade grips or other parts, your time is running out. I was recently told that QUICK UK is phasing out the Caliber 30 parts due to low sales. That SUCKS! So where are you going to buy if you want to bling up your Cal 30? Just thought everyone here should know.

Kyosho doesn't offer aluminum mixing arms or blade grips. Quick was the only one, now noone. Would it help if we all beg and plea to Quick UK?

Correct is still turning out parts slowly.
It costs a LOT to buy them and ship them over.
It's not cost effective sometimes to bring over the Japanese or Korean made stuff, no matter how nicely it is made.

Well I have plans to make aluminum parts for my Cal30. I am going to make blade grips, clutch bell, radius plate/elevator lever combo. So should I make extras? I know it really isn't cost effective to make just a couple for myself, but if I made several, then maybe it would be worth it.

Here is a model of the clutch bell that I am working on.

Interesting looking clutch bell. Perhaps while you're at it, you could crank out a couple of different prototype versions to change the main gear ratio just a bit.

Oops -- you're making that for the Caliber 30. Leave the gear ratio where it is. If you ever decide to do one for the Caliber 5, though...

Alrighty then, I will take the silence as a big don’t bother.
That’s cool, I will just make a handful for myself and friends.

I haven't made any yet, I was just putting feelers out to see if anyone else would be interested.

I am not sure about costs yet, but I am sure they will be less than Quick or the other after market mfgers.

I'd be willing to pony up a caliber 5 kit to see what Clint can come up with...
Nice work on the rendered clutch. If you have the talent, time, and resources to make some parts, go for it!

Sounds like Cal5 parts would be the smart thing to do. Like I said guys I am just starting on these so give me a little bit of time, and I will see what I can do.

Next step is for me to get my hands on a cal5 kit.
