I've been looking around and can't find one. Also is there any software needed to use the transmitter with a sim program. Thanks

I have found lots of info on the net by just doing a search with various words. Some of the words I have used being FMS, Flight Sim and RC.

The word from Venom is that the connection in the back of the Txer is not supported, so you will have to find other flyers out there who have been persistent enough to get it connected to the PC.

Thanks kbheli
I have already checked with Paul and I will post his reply so he doesn't get flooded with emails about the cable.

Bruce,
This transmitter has a port on the back that would normally be used for something like a simulator, but in the case of the NR 2, this port is not functional. This transmitter is used by our manufacturer for several other products, as such it is a generic transmitter that we can have configured as we need it, and again, in the case of the NR2, it is not used.

If you look on Ebay there is a program called FMS that people sell cables to interface with various brands of transmitters and a lot of times they will sell the cables with a transmitter for about $40 USD.

If not, I would take a hard look at the Realflight G3 Simulator as it is the most realistic one out there, and it comes with its own transmitter interface.

Paul says it is a generic transmitter, so is there a way to rig it up so the port is functional? or would it just be a lot easier to buy the sim and the controller? Thanks for the replies.

I am looking into using the connection plug that is already in the controller. The parallel cable setups that I have seen have added another connection point and I am trying to work around that. Will let you know if I am successful.

If you're a electronics wizard you could probably get it to work, but you possibly run the risk of damaging the transmitter if you don't know what you are doing. (I am one of those people)

I'd say its a lot easier to just buy one. There are guys that sell the cables, and a lot of times they'll sell it with a cheapie 4 channel transmitter.

Got the cable working thanks to a thread in another site, there is no need to go inside the controller. You just need to pick up some part from a store and a little soldering. If you are not capable of soldering you could always by 2 different cables and crimp the wires together in the middle.
As I am not sure that the mods would appreciate me posting the link here I won't, but if you would like to know the threads location just send me a pm.
