Fri. noon-6pm - HCRCC field gate will be opened by noon if you want to do any fine tuning before the official start. The field is still open for all HCRCC members until Sat., so be sure to use the frequency board. You can use the stub runways at either end for takeoff, hovering, and landing if there are planes in the air.
Fri. 6p-8p - Go for supper. This will be up to you although we're hoping quite a few pilots will have their electrics with them. I'm sure you can find someone to eat with.
Fri. 8p-11p - Indoor SHAG 07 Kick-off Electric Fly at the Ramada Golf Dome. The address for the dome is:

Setup can begin just after 8p while the previous group clears the field. Flying will start at 8:30p, or whenever the field is clear, and will go until 10:30p. You may fly a little longer.......we just need to have everyone packed up and out by 11p.
NOTE: There will be a size limit for the electric helis you can fly in the dome. Nothing bigger than a Trex 450 or using more than a 350mm blade please. Safety is our #1 concern. The bigger electrics can fly at the field on Sat. and Sun.
Sat. 8a-9a - Meet at the traditional breakfast spot for SHAG.......Grasswood Esso.
Sat. 9a - 6p - Registration followed by open flying.
Sat. 6p - until Bill kicks us out ! - The Steak BBQ will be held at Bill Archibold's house. The address is 227 Nesslin Terrace. All food for registered pilots and their spouses or significant others is included. BYOB if you wish.
Sun. 9a - 2p - Open flying.
Sun. 2pm - Door prize and raffle draws.
So, dust off those helis, charge up those Lipos, and try to make SHAG 07 .......May 4th-6th ! |
