Went to the field with my 3 head YS today, keen as mustard!
However the regulator failed - so not much to report
I am running two OS A5 plugs and one Enya E4 plug for the idle
The idle is now very smooth and can idle at a much lower RPM
(it used to be rougher and needed a higher RPM for the idle)

Will report back next weekend...

Thanks for doing my heads BA!
(If only it was so easy to fix PinkBike's head? )

Oh I see it is my turn now then?
I'll have you know that my lips have never been anywhere near the back window of the special bus! In fact I have never even taken a ride in such vehicle. BA I am shocked that you could even suggest that I even resemble a character of such nature "brrrlllpppp, ggrrrttthhheeee" I am of sound character and judgement "bbllllp gggrrrttt jjjjyyykk"

Well, I made it back out to the field yesterday,
carb/regulator all fixed up now

The idle is improved (using 1 Enya 4 for that)
but not to the same degree as the dual plug OS91
which idles ever so slow and smooth

She started out pretty rich and unhappy,
but it was not hard to get her happy

Went for a flight, climbed good,
ran very similar to when it had 1 plug
did some light 3D, no complaints from the engine

Trouble was, it was so windy I could not hear the engine
over the wind ripping past my ears
It was so bad that we all gave up flying, no fun
I need a better day to get the YS into the sweet spot
I suspect I'm a little lean in the mid
and a little rich on the top

But certainly the engine works just as well with 3 plugs
I'm hoping to find the sweet spot get it running real smooth

Here is BA braving the UK weather for all you lucky overseas customers of his.
Note the nicely machined head button on his Vibe. If you ask nicely he may make you one?
I can't wait to receive mine
