My Posts This: Topic  Forum		Hey everyone, just got my Trex600 started up and the stock ESC is cutting out at just above half throttle. Its more like a sputtering from being over geared and and the motor shudders causing the heli to do a little dance on the ground. I tried another stock esc from a friend's Rex600 and it is super smooth from spool up to full throttle. Same factory default settings and all.
First the tail blades are bad on this 600 and now the ESC. Kinda of feeling like I got a lemon and it hasn't even gotten off the ground for a flight yet. Gonna contact Align here in So Cal today to see if they're open so I can show them what's going on.

So I called Andy up at Align yesterday while he was at the flying field and told him about my issue with the ESC. He said it sounds like the ESC according to what I've told him and how I tried to resolve it by using a known good ESC. He said just to go to the warehouse and talk to whoever is there and tell them to go ahead and exchange it. Got it installed, trimmed and flew some light 3D today without any issues. Hopefully this ESC with work for awhile without any faults.

Gotta love the customer service Assurance RC offers. Thanks again Andy!!

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		I despise Align ESCs. I'm on my second one for my TRex450 and I'm about to toss the thing. It's already starting to lose timing with my Medusa 3400KV motor and I'm not even running the motor super hard. I'm right around 2800rpm right now. I need a Jazz or a Castle. I'm probably just gonna save this Align ESC for a plane... yippee. Maybe I'll build a Zagi.
