Just got my brochure today on the MAXUM and I got to say it looks like an incredible machine. It has some very nice specs and parts.

The Anti-Twist engine mount is impressive as is the open lower frame design for taking out the motor without having to remove the muffler and carb. All push pull servo linkages.

I think it will do well. Especially if the price is right.

Very nice!

I wish I was going to the Phillipines to fly one now. Anyone who got invited should go fly one.

Thanks Pinoy for the brochure!

take it easy

Broncholic,
You're welcome man... You wont be dissapointed with the price. We're just trying to get some Distributors involve to get it out in the market. To answer some of the questions out there, there are at least 50 units that can be readily order by anybody and parts are ranging anywhere from 200 to 1000 pieces per part available for those people that would need them either for repairs or just keeping them for future use. This info was staight from the manufacturer himself just over the weekend. He made sure that there wouldn't be any empty promises. Pinoy..

I dont know about US shipping cost, but I have been quoted a shipping cost via DHL insured and trackable for US $166
Like I said, thats to Oz, so will vary, but I thought it may give you some idea of the costs involved

WOW!

"2000 grand" for an rc heli!

2000 x 1000 = 2,000,000. You, could get a real heli and training for that!

I am not sure to many could afford that for an rc heli.

Maxum better re-think that price.

I think/hope you meant "2 grand"

Broncholic,
Just to clarify things for everybody also, we haven't really release any official cost for heli yet and it wont be 2000 but way under 2000. To give you guys some sorth of an idea try fairly under $1500 for the kit or just a tad over around $1500.00 WITH MOTOR. Now that's a heli that has all the CNC upgrades. This prices are not really official yet but would be fairly close.
Shadow fox,
Yes, it's been flown with an 810 blades on it.

Thanks Pinoy...

Pinoy,

I was just messing with him. I knew what he meant.
I also knew that the prices have not been put out in the US, yet.
I hope I did not upset anyone.

I was having a fun day and was trying to make people laugh a little.

Like I said before they are nice looking machines and should do very well!

Ive placed my order, now I just have to get the wire transfer done....no sleep tonight, kid at xmas all over again! lol.
Spent about 4 hours checking out blades..
Looks like the Radix are the best all rounder. Prob go V Blades for tail, just cos I like the look of them more than the Radix tails, prices are the same.
MAH paddles look awesome but are out of my price range.
Had a look at the Hanson engines web site....oh myyyyy.
Its gonna be sausages and potato's around here for a while I think lol

Ive yet to see ANY video of this heli performing yet, so if you have it, PLEASE POST IT!
Cheers

If you bling it, they will come :D

One of the things that I really like though, is that all the gears are helical/spiral cut to reduce gear noise.
Very nice touch.
