I am not the shooter in this video, but you will see what a 50 cal does to insurgents hiding in the mountainsides. All shots are over 1000 yards the last one close to a mile. The rag heads that got taken out never knew what hit them. Notice how it blows their bodies apart, Imagine what its going to do to my heli. HEhhhh Hehhhhh

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		Where I'm from, $700 will buy more 50BMG than I can carry.

It sounds like it would make a cool video, but I'm pretty sure that even a .50 bullet will just rip right through a helicopter. Even if you're using incen or AP rounds you have to have something a lot more solid to get the full benefit of the terminal ballistics. The most interesting thing that could happen is you'd blow the head apart and get some good dispersion. More likely you'll just shatter the engine or take out the radio and it'll go out of control and disappear below the brush.

It'd be a lot cheaper and cooler to take down a fleet of BCP's with a shotgun, sporting-clays style.

I will not talk him out of killing the evo 50 that i built for him cuz its his machine and he can do whatever he pleases with it.
We talked and i will be calling some good poeple i met at the san diego funfly that do amazing video work.... http://www.defypictures.com and hopefully get them to make the dvd. I also will call my friend that flys 3d planes whom loves this type of thing.... www.teamflyingcircus.com.

i think this will be fun. we will be at a big shooting range in a controlled environment so all the safety nazis could relax a bit.

If you want someone to fly it near the palmdale area a real good pilot it scooterpilot from palmdale/lancaster.

I got 3 video cameras ready and people to film.
let me know the place and the time. it will have to be on the weekend though.

also I can edit videos pretty good but not crazy good. I might be able to talk to some people about that.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		WELL I have been talking to a few guys that are interested. It is looking like we will be doing a full length video. I have the private range set aside, I will supply the guns and ammo, whoever is interested can supply their planes and helis. We can blast shotguns at foamies and all sorts of crazy fun stuff.

It will be like an all day Fun Fly only BETTER with massive destruction. I am planning this for early November. It will be on a weekend. I cant imagine how fun it will be to shoot guns and fly all day. But even better will be shooting at the planes and helis.

If your would like to attend, or if you could contribute to having one awsome day, let me know. From the PM's so far it seems as though this could turn into a really big and fun event

Wouldn't be to hard to have a "friendly" bring you a round or two consisting of the proper materials now would it! As for making your own HP, that's what I was thinking of. You might give it a tip like a wad cutter, with that energy & velocity it should make the poor Evo wish it was actually a Raptor.
