Ahh craps,
An i was jst planning to go out flying
I do consider myself a safe pilot, and was only planning to brush up on my orientation etc on my 50...
Only downer is i fly alone and this kind of stuff really shnitzles me up
Always have and cant really get to a club as i have no car, you can all bet i take off/land a long way away from myself *sighs*.

Really gives me the hebie-jeebies...

Hope the old fell'a on the mend and i wish him all the best, sounds like yet more bad fortune hittin the nicest guy
I hate it when that happens...

I once got cut by the prop of a zagi. cut deep into my finger like hot knife into butter, such a little prop!(I kept flying and soon realize the blood won't stop coming out of my finger, went home with a bloody Tx)

Man this guy is lucky, that's a big "prop". Good thing its wood.

Accidents

Hello all, I love RC Helicopters there a lot fun. Been doing this for over 20 yrs since I was 17. One of my biggest fears is getting hit or hitting someone else with my Helicopter. I have a plan in my head if my heli comes at me out of control I will throw my radio at the main rotor, sometimes I keep a piece of wood in my back pocket to throw at it to knock it down if I need to do so, its not much but its something. I was locked out once at a hover and watched it drift off & away from me and that feeling of nothing you can do real sucks because you do not no where its going or why this is happening all you can do is get scared and watch and warn people, I yelled to other flyers I do not have control watch out thank god no one got hurt it went into the ground about 10 seconds later. That 10 seconds felt longer. Thats why I have my little plan. Yes I have hovered in front of my house to trim out my Helicopter I think most of us are guilty of it. But you cant predict that mechanical failure or radio may fail or interference, or that battery wire breaks off, or someone left there radio on while driving up to the field on the same frequency that may send that thing out of control full throttle at your self or someone or something. Sorry just needed to vent my fear. Happy Holidays and safe flying to all.

TERRIBLE SUTURE WORK!

He would have had a long scar there regardless, but it appears as though that wound was closed by an ER physician.

That should have been sent to a specialist who could properly close it up.
