yes switching the leads on the motor and inverting the heli has been done I forgot where I saw it but the heli did look rather nice

rotors ballance ?

Hello
I have to admit I was really not expecing too much when I Ordered my little Picoo.... boy was I wrong !! Ive only ever built and flown planes,,many years back No Helicopter experience.. but this tiny thing has got me hooked.
I notice some vibration to the rotor and body at times and wondered if there is a thread here to advise on balancing.The stabiliser rotor does hang to oneside at rest.

OK I now have 3 of these little helis and it does seem common in all that they can be almost unflyable JUST AFTER FULL CHARGE. Let it duck and dive around or just run it in your hand for a minute or two.They tend to only fly on full throttle after a charge..if you cut the revs it rattles and drops like a stone.Once its had a minute or two to discharge..all of a sudden they seem to be trimmable and docile. Dont give up,,they are great fun once you get to know em.

What....... No replys! Its look like this mini toy heli is not longer popular here :-(

I am beguining to control it better inside my home. When I going to make it turn, I have to play a little with the colective stick (trotle) in order that it turn better and faster.

For the price of it, is very funny....... My 10 years old kid is beguining to fly it better inside the home.

Getting kids (and self) interested in flight is fantastic! Sparks the imagination and causes us to think.......

A lot of talented folks in this hobby and probably not a thread commonly subscribed to. I posted for the heck it and actually forgot I did.

Anyway, bend the vertical fin some, maybe mess with the weight a bit and use the little trim button as well.

Experiment and have fun with the kids!

I was yesterday in a mall and there was a small store (does that are in the middle were you walk) selling this heli and demostrating flying it.

I talk to them and let them know about putting a small weight in the front and I help them to put a small screw........ What a fun thing, I stay like an hour flying does heli inside the mall...... In that time, I think I help to sell several of does. I forget to ask for my commision fee

They have it with diferent fuselages.... Jet Ranger, Hudge 500, etc

There are many ways to safely adjust the weight, just keep in mind that when it's not enough, modders might add more weight..... Oh I'll just use a bigger screw, or this push pin tack

Although not all designed exactly the same the potental hazard is identical!

FIRE bad............

So, folks must understand that a punctured Li-po battery is a fire hazard! As you can see in this pic it wouldn't be hard to do.

Hey Simages, thx for the advise. Eaven that the screw I intalled in my and them is very small is very good your advise.

Tomorrow sunday I go to the mall with my wife and kids and I will advise them about this. I already print your pic to explain them.

I will say that a large pin or screw can be a problem in the hudge 500 model they have since the nose is more shorter and is possible to punctured the li-po

ha, a 50mah single cell lipo battery is no fire hazard, at best, it'll puff up and outgas a very small amount. I know because I purposefully shorted 2 of those piccoZ cells to see what would happen.

Tell that to the fellow on RCG who bought a little "Fairy" Picoo clone for his son. The battery caught fire while on the kid's bed, and while they saved the home, they lost most of what was in the boy's room to the resulting fire.

50Mah or 5000, Lipos deserve respect.

I have got six heli,s and a sim and I have been struggling to learn to fly.Wondering if I would ever be any good at it.Then my daughter bought me a picoo z for my 68th birtday and I cant stop laughing as I fly around the living room.It seems unbreakable and at last I can call myself a real pilot even if it is only indoors.Its absolute magic
