Put on some harder dampers, maybe the Hirobo 80´s.
Adjust the collectivesetup so you have a +/-10* curve.
Maybe change to a higher gearratio, 8.45 is common for YS91 and seems to work fine for SZ-H´s as well.

What engine, muffler, gearratio and electronics do you have in your sweet EXII right now?

'Hm now I just have to find out where to connect the GV1 sensor to the Jazz80 ESC.

Not sure how the SSR-VII works for 3D.

Hi

I have 2 x EX2's and an Evo90 and the tech differences are:
gear ratio, head, tail gear ratio and lots of metal / carbon bits on the ex2's

I would go with the EVO .90 head,
with the correct gearing for your motor/ pipe.

I was thinking of doing that with mine but, the cost of a crash would hurt too much.

i'd rather crash a plastic heli..

Hi guys

I have seen a guy 3D a Super 2, which is a plastic framed Freya with an EX2 / E3 ssr7 metal head, and it was wild enough...

He had 3D blades and the weights out of the paddles and the flybar ratio set to the "more aggresive" setting...

With the price of an EX2, you could consider selling it and buying a plastic Evo90

Have fun

I've flown a friend's EXII with the SSZ-III head and the SWM (eCCPM) conversion and the FRP blades from an EVO90. It is a very capable 3D setup. It is essentially a Freya Evo90 OP SWM with a carbon frame.

I agree with Paul though. For the money, best to just get an Evo90. I have 2 EX2's with SSZ-III head myself that I use for F3C competition and have put out an order for a Freya Evo90 SWM to use for 3D.
