Just to let you Know I solved My Century Bell 47 muffler Issues By buying a Vario benzine With a Wren Turbine. I now have a Company that will answer my questions over the phone and not pawn me off on someone Else.They are very helpful and don't throw out Guesses about whats wrong if there is a problem they help you fix it. The best move I ever made. I should have bought a Vario First and Will buy a Vario Bell 47 next. Spend the money and buy Quality equipment and you won't have to put up with poor Quality control and Parts and lack of help from Century.Everyone who has a century Great. I hope you get years of Enjoyment out of your Machines. I for one will Never buy another Century Product and will not Advise anyone else to do so either. have fun and Happy flying PS Don't bother with the BS replys I could care Less Ruger

Al I hope you take some more courses so you can gain more knowledge in small engines when you learn more get back to me and we can chat also you might want to read all of my posts I did not use MY FINGER to check to see if it was overheating I used a temp gauge and the engine was not overheating and it ran great and it flew great.Have a great day and enjoy your Centurys,I will enjoy my Vario with a Wren Turbine

If it ran great and flew great, then what was the problem? If I'm not mistaken, did you not say you had a muffler heating issue? Well, the fact that you weren't even running an engine suited for the application makes your experience invalid.

Ruger, I have to agree with AL, we and the reps have tried to help you, but you don't see it that way,, you were the only one to have this problem and you are the only one to use a plane motor, that airplane motor has-to work harder to keep that heli flying, producing hotter exhaust, if your plane motor ran cool then a heli motor "would" run much cooler with it's larger heat-sink head,, another thing, that plane motor is most likely a ringless motor, no-matter what you think or say it must run a lot hotter than than an OS 32 ringless heli motor,,

sorry you had a problem !! but you must be realistic here, you have the wrong motor in it (sorry for being harsh), you spend all that money on that Vario but you wont spend $110 on an OS 46 for your Century, what's up there ?

if I had the money I would buy that heli from you,,

as for you Vario with a Wren Turbine, you will need to be certified to fly it at my field,, I hope you don't crash it..
