My Posts This: Topic Forum | The Spirit Pro needs the 3rd bearing upgrade, you may also want to get the tail belt drive upgrade, the 3rd bearing prevents the main gear from being destroyed due to twisting of the main rotor shaft support during anything but mild flying. The stock landing gear struts also suffer from being weak, if you could get the upgraded landing gear supports that would be a plus as well. I have the Spirit Pro with full metal bling upgrades, head, swash, 3rd bearing, and it flies like it's on rails. The plastic head is ok as well as the blade grips but some say they aren't up to hard 3D. I do not fly 3D but I wanted a durable helicopter that would hold up to standard flying. At first I had severe glitching which turned out to be the CC-45 amp ESC, I switched to a Kontronics Jazz and have had virtually zero problems since. I'd suggest getting some good servos for the swash, the tail really needs a digital servo and the GY-401 gyro. I invested heavily in my Spirit Pro but it's been a pure joy to fly now that there are no longer any glitches. I live in Nashville, TN, you will like Knoxville, a nice town, growing very fast! A word of caution, the ball links are very easily damaged so stock up on those and the plastic balls on the swash can be easily broken off if you apply too much force when installing the ball links, if your budget can afford it I'd get the aluminum swash offered by several shops, it's worth the upgrade!
