Thats a great idea, they should make a conversion kit... put simply, all you really need is a new frame set? tail head legs still all the same

they should package it with a really really cheap motor esc and 10 or 12s Lipo! lol

Its from hirobo. The lepton ex is bigger then a T-rex yet smaller then a 30 size helicopter. Has a full meatle head. Its $650 !!

But I hear its worth the money. They say it has alot of quilty parts. They have a fourm for it as well http://www.runryder.com/helicopter/f91p1/ .

With less than a month to official release, do you know why the prototypes aren't being flown around the country like Align did with their rex600? Seems that TT isn't aggressively trying to compete in the electric heli arena with Align and other electric manufacturers.

I am hoping to be a test pilot myself. All I know is they wont be available to anyone in the US till August. Beleive me I have been asking alot

I realy dont think there is much of a prototype for this machine. Being that it is about 90% Raptor 50 anyhow. I know that we are hoping for availability by IRCHA so we can get a couple demos done there. I am pretty sure it is all up to TT of taiwan right now. All of us US pilots and ACE are anxiously awaiting its arrival. Thats about all I know about it.
I think cost is gonna be pretty reasonable but I have not heard any numbers as of yet.

Ok, it's August. Does ACE hobby or anybody else have any more info of when this thing's gonna come out? I might have to settle with a TREX 600.

I don’t think you can get a trex600 right now – they have all been recalled or grounded to failures of the blade grips and control rods. From what I hear Align is redesigning these parts and should have them available in a month or two.

The next cargo container that Ace gets should have the electric kits. I think it’s due in about now – sometimes it takes a while to get through the customs security.

No recalls on T-Rex 600. They're just replacing the blade grips which could potentially fail if overtightened. All new kits already have the new grips. This is how fast they react.

After pissing and moaning about the problems I had with Raptor V1, TT just come up with V2 two years later and force us V1 owners to fork out 50% of kit price for an upgrade. Not cool.
