Is this yet an example of poor quality checking from Align, or have I received counterfeit parts?
The two flybar rods in the bag with the larger label does not fit the bearings. The diam. of the rods are too large. Have anyone else experienced this?

i had the same prob with my XL, the flybar rod seemeed a fraction too big to fit the bearings. It did eventually push through but was tight; it scaped some of the 'back' finish off the rod! Then another set of rods slid in without any trouble - QC is the issue i think.

If you want, you can mount the flybar in a drill and turn it to size using sandpaper (600 grit to finish, 300 for rough sizing). It's a bit of a pain, but it works.

Some where between the V2 and the XL and SE, Align changed up their flybars.

There are 2 versions out there. The older version is larger and requries a very light sanding to be inserted into the SE bearings of the flybar holder. The newer vesion should fit well, without any need for sanding.

They dont have the same part number. One is HS10061 and the other is the HS10061T

Take a look again. Both bags have partnbr. HS1006T. Why Align have the same partnbr. on rods that surely are different is beyond me.
Or, maybe they don't know that there are a diam. difference?
