Difference is that HE can do it with a 6s while a normal pilot would puff that pack in a blink of an eye just for trying.

I fly my E-Raptor with 10s2p giving me good power.
I use 6s2p in my Logo 10 3D which is a much smaller machine.

Totally untrue. How many 600 on a 6S 2P have you flown to document that statment?

What size ESC is aligning selling with the combo deal?>

All in all decent, but not impressive.

check out the amp draw when it hit 70amps, that is a bog, not blade flutter

A $340 Lipo Plus shipping for 5 minutes of flight... Hmmm...

If the raptor uses more cells, which it will, it will be even more expensive.

So, your agument here is not really against the T-Rex 600, it's actually against the idea of 50 and larger size e-Helis on the whole?

Since I'm no-where near a pro, I can very happily live with a power setup that bogs once (maybe), over the duration of a 6-7 min flight, while in the hands of a pro. Especially since that power system will be cheaper than the other e-helis in the same category.

Are you just arguing to hear yourself talk or what?

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		I priced out the TP packs, not aligns packs, I would suspect align lipos not give the same performace level as a TP pack.

For myself, the cost of Lipos vs the flight time is not good.

I'm just posting what I noticed, if you are happy with that setup then by all means grab it. I am sure many will be happy.

I look forward to seeing the videos and reading reviews from end users, more so then a Pro.

Just so everyone knows the Align ESC cannot be used with the Emoli setup. You will need a Castle HV45 at minimum. The Align ESC can only do 6s. The minimum Emoli setup for this heli is going to be in the neighborhood of 10s - 11s. Not sure about the motor but I wouldn't expect it to do more than 6s either."

Yes they are flying the 6S 2P. These videos are with the Align batteries not TP. Since Danny has brought his home he has 27 flights on his batteries which are TP. The only 2 flights on a 10S 2P and a hacker motor was a couple of weeks ago in San Diego at Mid Winter Electric. Dannys comment "It had a little bit more punch but it wasnt worth it" so after two flights he put back the original Align motor, speed control and TP 6S 2P battery and has been happy with it.
