I think I will eventually. Let somebody else buy one, bling it out and then realize that helis is not for them and sell it to me cheap!

Me! I've got one on order.

I bought a Thunderpower 1010C charger, with a 210v balancer......bought my blades, and my TP 6S2P battery......plus, I've already got the gyro, servos and radio gear.

I can't wait!

It'll be the big brother for my two T-Rex 450s!

I'm not sure, I've narrowed it down to the Lepton, eRaptor or T-Rex 600.
The Lepton is the odd size out of that trio but it might be just big enough.

Not me it's a waste of money. Better quality ehelis coming out and this is not one of them.

I'm EXTREMELY interested in electric heli's. The ION-X is totally out of the question due to the fact that the damn batteries cost as much as the helicopter. Please elaborate on the "Better quality ehelis coming out" I would very much like more information or hyperlinks to literature etc. Thanks a lot. any help by anyone actually would be appreciated.

yea the Logo 103D is a very impressive machine with no upgrades bone stock it is impressive. Now in regards to newer helis coming out, I will look at the rex 600 when it becomes more of a 10S lipo setup or when enough people test out the crazy setups as that is what I am after, then again I may just leave it alone as I allready have two Logo 14s anyways......we'll see... The Hirobo Lepton is going to be a wicked little heli, mark my words. For anyone who has ever flown or owned a Hirobo heli there is one thing that stands out is the fact that they have a proven awesome holding tail and Hirobo really does make top notch quality plastics etc.... I remember owning just a Raptor thinking it was so awesome, then I bought and built a Hirobo Evo, it was night and day, the Raptor collected allot of dust for quite some time. When you consider the new E Helis coming out and the recent aquisition of top pilots to E Teams it is very exciting stuff ahead. I personally will never get another nitro heli again, there is no need. With the every improving technolgy in the lipos and the new releases of all these E Helis that just seems the way to go. And you all have to admidt, is it not nice to just put your heli in car, no nitro, no glo plugs n starters and all that crap? Oh man I love the E Heli scene!!!!

...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...

Not me, expecially when there are better, proven helis in that same category.

I have preordered the Lepton, which is sure to be a hit.

Got mine on order. I am told they are due in NZ very soon.

Will try the 6S setup but expecting to very quickly replace with an 8 or 10s config.

This year I am completely getting out of "Wet" Models.

10 out of my 12 models (6 helis + 6 Planks) are now Lipo powered.

with that name, i think it will only be popular in a boutique style market, not popular enough to do what the trex did, base don price alone.

You with names willy, whats up with that? Who cares what the heck its called?

Keeping in mind as well, that the Lepton is first coming out with an EX model, meaning fully upgaded also keeping in mind the quality with a Hirobo heli. Wait unitll they release the standard plastic version of it. Then we will see who is talking.

boutique style market ?

Kicking and screaming, Lipo power is now entering the 600mm arena in a big way. I have eRaptor50 and several TRex450's and are keen to have a Trex600 that is a purpose built electric.

Will this be popular ? With Danny & Alan Szabo becomming "Factory Demo Pilots" and Jason Krause endosrsing the product on their packagaing (The new T600 box) I believe Align will fight very hard to get some decent market share.

Well , when I bought myself a TSK heli , I hated the idea of buying something called a MyStar , it sounds really gay .

At the end of the day , it gets dark .

Nope, not interested in the T600 size Helicopter right now, I am more in the market for a .30 sized like the Swift.

I can still fly it around most parks and it is cheaper to run on Lipos / Emoli.

Good Luck Align, But I'm no one's test pilot when it costs me $$$$'s
I'll Wait for the Trex600 V2 next year. same thing they did with the 450SE, the 450SE V2 fixed most of issues the first round of buyers faced.

-= I know there is Money in RC helicopters. I put it there=-

What does proven mean anyway? Good old Jesus has never been proven to exist, but people still devote their lives to him.

I'm ready to give the 600 a go. Hell, if the Szabos like it, it's good enough for me. It's not like I can fly 3D or anything anyway!

I'll fly it on the 6S, crash it a bunch of times, learn a little 3D, then when and only when it becomes underpowered for me, then I'll do some upgrades, which I'm sure will be readily available by then.

Same category meaning 50 sized helis or 600 electrics

Lepton is NOT in the same category as the new 600.

and the Lepton is a proven heli?.....what a tard

Who are you calling a tard?

And yeah. Just cause the Szabos like it, its good for me.. You are a markerters dream. If you built a ok heli, and paid the Szabos enough money, they would most likely say that they like it. Example would the the TT line of helis.

What does proven mean anyway?

A proven heli would mean one that has been around for years and many only gone through a revision or 2. How many now are we on for the T-Rex 450? 4 or maybe 5. They just finally released another tail hub that will hopefully fix the tail issues. How long did people have to wait for a new swash that wouldnt come apart in flight?
The Raptor has been around for many years and has only gone one revision and that would be the V2. The SE and Titan are not revesions, but upgrades to an already proven airframe.
