Raptor was working nicely ,Balanced & replaced blades,flybar & boom after crash and rechecked belt tension. With 401 Gyro on (steady red) the heli tail shakes and moves all over place and sometimes makes the entire heli shake, turn off gyro switch (ch5)and its flys better but still not same .Any ideas whats happening ?

Did you take the mainshaft and spindle out and check them for trueness after the crash? It doesn't take much to bend either of them. Is the tail shaking side-to-side or up and down? Did the tail blades sustain any damage? Also check the tail rotor shaft.

Will take Tail Rotor, Main shaft & spindle out today ,whats an easy way to check them for trueness ?(i'm thinking a peice of glass). Shakes mostly side to side ,and sometimes goes through out whole heli which looks scary .Tail blades dont look damaged but will also change.

I put the shafts in my cordless drill and spin them, and I always check them from both ends. Also rolling them on a plate of glass is good also. Does the tail servo feel ok - no stripped gears?

99 percent of the time if you need to replace blades you are going to be replacing the spindle. I've never bent a main shaft and I've torn up my Raptor a few times.

To check the spindle extend one blade and remove the other. Put a hex driver on the spindle bolt and turn it. If the blade tip moves up and down replace the shaft. Some people put a mark on the wall where the blade tip is to see even small variations.

Main shaft intact & spindle bent !! was easy to notice bend on true surface and also with drilling machine .Will still check T/R parts and servo for any defects.

Finally solved bad movement of tail today .
Started with swaping out Rx battery and got same problem ,
Changed to another working 401 Gyro and still same problem,
Changed Futuba S3001 to S9254 for tail and problem stopped !!!
Now back to very smooth Raptor30 hovering .
