Thanks Tchavei but unfortuneately I don't understand a word of that site shame they've not got a translating feature as it looks quite good from what I can make out.

Anyone know what the Hirobo part number is for the metal washout base?

Samstar:

Hirobo parts numbers for what you are looking for are further up in this post.

oh what the hell:
0412-188 is the complete SD-G Washout set (radius block, washout base and washout arms). I think it's about $90

0404-730 is just the SD-G Radius Block, about $25-30
0404-731 is just the SD-G washout base/slide block, abot $25-30

Nobody has the actual number for the washout arms?? Come on guys??

Thanks for the PM airflex. I didn't realise the SD-G components were Hirobo's own...

Upgrade washout arms are part #0412-185

Thanks for the part number Samstar..

Who has bought/used these arms? Are they a lot better then the stock ones?? The stock ones have a good bit of play in them..

Nobody understands the site

Just choose: english version (its on the bottom at the main entry)then go to spare parts hirobo and put in the part numbers... check the price, add everything up and order it. Thats it

AirFlex: I have the radius block, washout arms and washout block (SD-G). Everything works smooth. No sideway play. Its worth the money. If I'll need to replace the swash plate too, I'm going for a Quick UK one as I have on my Freya. Almost same price as the stock swashplate and half the price of the SD-G one.

Just bought the metal radius SD-G part upgrade and it has 4 threaded holes but only 2 small grub screws to hold it to the main mast...does it matter which holes these 2 grub screws go in?
Thanks for any help

Doing the usual pre-flight check on the Hirobo metal radius block and I find one of the pins has been pushed out!

Don't put the screws on direct opposite sides. If you do, the radius block will be able to rock back and forth on the points of the screws. Setscrew-to-shaft systems usually use two setscrews offset at 90 degrees. The strongest approach has two setscrews at 90 to 120 degrees from each other. This way, you actually get a three point hold, since the two setscrews pull the opposite side of the sleeve tight against the shaft. The side where the sleeve is pulled against the shaft locks the sleeve vertically and prevents movement.

The radius block holds best when you use the two setscrews on the same side (or end) as opposed to opposite sides.
