Please show us some progress reports as you go through the build.I am planning on using the exact mech and fuse.Is that a Funkey fuse?
Do you forsee having to mod the pitch arm by cutting?

Looks great! enjoy your build!

It only takes two things to fly -- airspeed and money

awsome combo you got there.
Lineman, that is a funkey 50 size fuse and there are no mods required for the arm with this fuse. i am doing a new OH58D with this same fuse. it is very nice. good luck and have fun with yur project.

Correct me if I'm wrong but that looks like a Long ranger. You'll love this project. I did one few months back and it was a great project. [See my gallery for pics]

pretty much. i sized up my rappy in the fuse and it sized up well. it is a shuttle however that will reside in this one. sure there will be some trimming required on the pitch arm but so minor it isnt even an issue. maybe cutting the front of the arm where the fwd ball link is, and using the closer one to the servo. no sweat.

Cool! thanks for posting those pics,
do you know which muffler i would have to use?
do you think other century 50 scale fuses would work also?
Thanks again!

if you have a muffler like the ones in the pics or similar, you should have no problems. the lip next to the muffler in the pics should be trimmed to give about an eigth of an inch or so clearance so it doesnt try to melt the glasswork right there. i would like to say that all these 50 size fuses were designed with the rappy in mind. so it is all about which one you want.

There should be no other set up the Fuse is very light. What size motor are you using,At this time my jet ranger will be paint as Florida Highway Patrol Colors, They no longer have their heli's anymore to costly so they use airplanes. I work for Goodyear and work on their patrol cars,I will be posting more pictures in the near future. I forgot I have pics of the FHP Heli. Any More info you can e-mail me. Thanks Ken kbheli
