rap 90se...

Tried and true performers for servos are the Airtronics 94758's running at 6v. Put 3 on the cyclic and collective and you'll have a nice handling machine. I run them on mine and they are great...these are the same servos that Alan Szabo uses ...I would run the Arizona dual regulator also with the 4800mah fromeco pack and the heavy duty flag pin switch...nice setup...

The Airtronics 94758Z stomps all over those Futaba servos. Remember, he's looking for the best servos.
The S9255 are slow .17s for 60 degrees of movement vs the .06 speed of the Airtronics. The S9350 are a little better, but they are still only half as fast as the Airtronics.

The Airtronics 94758Z

The only way to go, until somebody comes out with one that does 60 degrees in .01 sec!

Hi, rookie5
I have a 90SE on the way, and the servo's i have brought are the new ACE DS1015'S Spec's @6V are 14.5kg-cm(201oz) /.10 transit.
Currently have one fitted to my Raptor 50 on collective running 6v's, they have a very narrow deadband and stacks of guts, with very accurate centering.. initially i am very impressed.
Also experimenting with a Hitec HS6965HB (Transit .08)on the tail coupled to a CSM 720, all @ 6V's, which eliminates the need for a stepdown or dual output regulator.
I have the Hitec 6965's on the cyclic of another raptor, but they do not centre as well as the ACE, or my JR'S, so for me,
ACE DS 1015'S on Cyclic and Collective, and Hitec 6965 Karbonites on throttle and rudder, for a true 6V setup, this is with a Duralite 6V regulator's and 3s1p 1600ma (110grammes)Flight Power Lipo's..
Servo's are from Inwood's ACE@£58 and 6965's@£46.
Hope this gives you something else to consider.

It sounds like money is not an option here so I would highly recommend the 611 gyro that comes with the 9256 servo.

Dont put the 94758 on the tail. The higher frame rate that the gyro sends to the servo will burn out the 94758.

A 611 can run on 6V's right? I got 2 buddies that are running there 611 and 9254's and 401's all on 6 volts!

But those Airtronics servos are very hard to beat!

Later,
Jake

I have flown it and it flys remarkably well. I thought that it was going to feel like a ton of bricks too, but it doesnt. It feels great.
