My Posts This: Topic Forum | Ive been starting my 90 now with my dewalt 18 volt cordless drill , like some one said be very carefull as from new they hydrolock easily and will loosen your crankshaft nut .
Also on the drill you can turn the rachet on which will stop damaging the engine if it locks.
I think you will burn your 12 volt starter out soon on 24 volt , you may get away running it on 14 or even 18 but 24 will shorten its life very quick and that will let you down soon.
The only problem I get with my drill is some times it slackens the chuck off as its left hand to start , but it only needs charging about every 4 outings but I keep a spare battery and run them down until flat. |
