before i order either online store or Ebay. I m on the fence between CX and CP.

One of my friend has CX and I flew it and its so cool...he said I could get CP since i m a quick learn but...

Is CP a bit bigger than CX ?

I need to listen to you all first...

your feedback?

Dunno if it helps i used to own nitro gas truck and now electric truck rockcrawling custom.

Now who sells the best price eh ?

Thanks!
YEOW!

some thoughts...

Blade CP vs. CX? If you order the CX, it could very well be that the purchase price is all that you spend on it. I flew one at my local hobby store, and it was very stable and easy to control. The CP certainly does not fall into that category at all - make sure that you budget in for spare parts! I'm fast approaching $100 just on parts that I've replaced on the CP. Also, be prepared to take things very slow with the CP - I went through 40-50 battery pack charges before I could hover nose out for an entire charge - and I've got lots of rc airplane experience! The difference between dual main rotors, and a main rotor and a tail rotor is huge!

If you're up for taking things slows and a steep learning curve, go for the CP. If you're not, go for the CX.

Oh not again. This dead horse has been flogged beyond all reason. Multiple threads here and on RCGroups. Look around.

It's like asking everyone else what your favorite color should be. Take a chance. Flip a coin. Consult a Ouiji Board. Or honestly assess your interest. Do you want to hover-only indoors, or do aerobatics and fly inside or out?

You'll find as many fans in both camps to swear theirs is the "best". LOL.

Difference is night and day, and that's about the only consensus I've seen.

Best price new is at my LHS. $209 (for the CP).

Good luck,
George

Renfield,
I have been flying Helis since the late 70's and never tire of helping people just getting started. Try to be a little more patient with newcomers. I feel sure you had a question or two when you first started...

Sorry all. Just seems like we've hit this one out of the park a few times in the last week or so.

So Gary, what should his favorite color be. LOL.

Cheers,
George

If your a beginner and you get the CX first and learn to fly it in all orientations, It will save you the cost of the CX in CP parts (or what ever second heli you get).

I got a CX for my 9yo son two weeks ago, he was really stuggling with the CP and never got it off the ground. after 12 days on the CX, he hovered my "BCP" in the gym last night...nice and steady..eye level. He hovered the CX on the first battery charge....store stock setup. Big smiles were priceless.

BTW, my BCP is more a frankinblade. Full brushless 2500 hs, w/Heading hold GY240, Bell hiller...yada...yada....!!! He set his feet, relaxed his shoulders, spun it up and lifted to two feet with only a foot or so slide to the left. I was impressed big time.

Later that night, he was back to landing the CX on shoe boxes in our basement.

IMO the CX is a great confidence builder...and a total kick to fly around the house.
