I want to plug the 2 balancers plug of my 10s1p EVo 20 FlightPower Evolution20 battery to a TP210V Balancer.

Does someone manufacture this adapter or is there any diagram?
Please to let me know

Yes I would like this as well.
I see that on Duralites webstie there is an adaptor that goes from Thunder power packs to Flight powers balancer but nothing that goes from Flightpower to Thunder power balancer
I email Duralite and asked them if they would make me one but I have not heard from them yet

Amazing! I have the same charger and ballancer and I have been working all day trying to find the ribbon cable plug because I dont want to take the plug off of the battery. I called Duralite and the Male plug version is what we need (plug # is 4614-6001) and it is by 3M. I believe Digi-Key should have them in stock. I am sick of messing with it for the day and I will get back on it monday. I will post a link when I find it .

Thanks a lot Eyefly and Rcman.
I just received an email from Tony at Thunder Power :
Those plugs are in Manufacturing. We don't have any made yet. We hope that they will be completed nexted week some time

Eyefly, I already have 2 Thunder Power 6 Pin 12" (4-5cell) Balancer Wire Harness and with 2 of the plug # is 4614-6001, it should be ok.
We just need the diagram because there is so many wire with the FlightPower plug.... But maybe it is only 2 wire for one everywhere...

As you can tell, I have been doing alot of research trying to figure out the same thing. However, If TP will be making these, I will be ordering rather than making my own.

Thank's a lot Eyefly,
then, if I want to make the adapter by myself (not sure TP will do it this week)I just have to join all the negative together and to connect each positive for cell 1,2,3,4 and 5 to the TP plug ? Right or not ?
Then I need a FlightPower male balancer plug and a 6 pin TP female balancer plug ?

I would read this post regarding wiring up a pack. Looks like a +/- from two cells is one single lead.

Bad news Eyefly and Rcman, I just spoke with Tony (Thunder Power) and they will not build this adapter. It seems that it is a "misunderstanding"... dixit.
Then we have to build it by ourself. I will receive the FlightPower male plug tomorrow from Digi-Key. I already have the Thunder Power plug.... And I will follow your diagram Eyefly . Then, to be continued

g2loq,

Please post pics and process. Also post the digikey item #. A direct link would be even better. I will need to order a few myself. The good news is that this should not cost too much to construct yourself.

Hello OICU812. Welcome to the club Seems that Duralite is working on it. I just received a positive email in this way from Mark (Performance RC Products) at... Calgary. Their technician are working on it But actually, no date.

Well now that would be awesome, meanwhile I am going to have to get the 2-6balancer I guess, not worth trashing batteries not balancing them and all. I hope they can get this done as there are alot of peeps out there already that have dropped the cash for the tp big balancers and chargers no doubt.

Hay fellas. Good news. Check out this page. About half way down. There is a cable available. Just solder it to a TP wire and you are golden. You need the 10 pin.

About half way down just under the Schulze chargers are the plugs and wires. You need to solder them to the appropriate TP plug.

I do it the other way around .
I use my FP balancer with three cell TP packs . I just cut the plastic away from the connector on the FP lead and bent the pins so that they line up with the connector on the TP packs .

At the end of the day , it gets dark .

Tired to wait from Thunder Power or Duralite... I made it !

With this home made plugs, I'am able to connect the 2 balancer plugs of my 10s1p FlightPower Evo 20 to a TP210V .

And thoses 2 adapters saved maybe the life of one of my 2 10s1p. Because, normally FlightPower batteries, like 10s1p, needs 2 balancers (2-6s Stay Balance Module) from Duralite. And if each of your 5cells are well balanced, that do not mean that the whole battery is well balanced.
Using the TP210V, I saw that I had a difference of more than 0.05 volts beetewen the cell 4 and the cell 7. And if I had charged this battery at 1C, the chance to loose one or more cell of my battery existed. And maybe worse...

It is also important to identify before plugin, which is the Groupe A and the Groupe B plug. The Groupe A plug includes the negative of the whole battery. And the Groupe B plug includes the positive of the whole battery.
On a TP battery 10s2p, the 2 x 5cells plugs are so short that you can't plug the Groupe B plug to the Groupe A balancer. On a FlightPower battery, using an adapter, you have to check first with a VoltMeter and after put the TP colored sticker on the plug.

To identify the groupe A, put the negative probe of your tester on one of the negative wire of the balancer plug (it is black, no mistale possible). Put the positive probe of your tester on the positive (in fact on any wire) of the the other balancer plug. Attention not to touch two or more wire at the same time. If the volt value you read on your voltmeter is positive, that means that the balancer plug where your connected the negative tester is the Groupe A. If the volt value is negative, that means that the balancer plug where your connected the negative is the Groupe B.

See also on my gallery for more details. And thank's everybody for your GREAT help !

I find out cheaper and better !
This is the perfect FlightPower male plug you need if you want to build your own adapater. The part number is M3KKK-1006R-ND at http://www.digikey.com and enter the p/n,
it is 9.5$ for each (+7/8$ for the shipping one day with Purolator) but it includes the color cable (better than the ribbon cable) and you have one male plug at each side. Then, if you want to make 2 adapters, juste buy one of this part. Attention, the color of the wire are inverted compare to the TP connector.

For the TP adapter, I found them on Draganfly at http://parts.rctoys.com/rc-toys-hobbies/Items/410469%20-%20(S)?sck=12779814 . It is 3.75$ each (free shipping in North America) but you have also 2 plugs. Then for 2 adapters, buy only one.
Then, you can make yours by following the diagramm on my gallery for almost 10 US$ each (not including the solder, the heat sink and... your time )

FWI, I just received (2 weeks after my question) a mail from Duralite and they propose to me 19.95$ for half the plug (the one you can buy for 2.5$ at Digi Key - with the ribbon cable only, not the colored)....:
"The price for the opposite connector with ribbon is $19.95 for either the 10 pin or 14 pin version. You will have to do your own modifications to attach it to your Thunder Power adapter."
I believe they will sell the final adapter for 120$...
There is no small benefit
