I would bet it has the CNC head that Jason showed us earlier this year. So..... Jason, you want to elaborate

Take a look at the postings about RC-Experts and the "Intruder". It's an upgrade CP2/Blade. This might be what it is.

Just my guess.

I found this, interesting http://www.hobbyzone.com/rc_helicop...lade_cp_pro.htm

What do you mean you grew out of the blade cp? Like do you know how to fly nose in and inverted and stuff with the blade or did you just upgrade so you could have a heli with even more potential to crash and burn than the blade cp? Just Kidding. Im just not sure when i should actually switch to a larger and more complex heli.

Cool!! Just to add the BH upgrade puts the CP at $250. Nothing on HH website though (yet). This one has got my attention.

So its a BCP with B/H head and a Lipo for $250.

Sounds like a plan. Cheaper then buying it all separate.

Hmmmm
Blade with some mods done, but not all. How about a more robust skid set? How about a lipo more compatible with a brushless motor?
Yeah it's still a great little bird, but there is going to be a whole new bunch of newbies that think they can charge it and fly it without breaking stuff.
I LOVE flying my Blade, but I always caution interested observers that it might look easy (and I'm not that good) but it takes ALOT of practice.

Eric, there will always be those people; it's human nature, I think. A more compatable Lipo? Do you mean one with more "oomph" current-wise?

800 mah lipo is a joke IMO. Might work until one gets the thumbs (or fingers depending on your control method) trained up, but after that everyone with a micro wants more juice.
I'm flying 1100mah with a 4100kv HiMax and the bird performs awesome, even with my fumble thumbs. No overheating, headspeed too fast, or any of the other issues discussed on this forum.
Currently using 9t pinion, I have an 8t to reinstall (search for the results of the last one I had) and I have no problems with it as long as I don't try to fly until my thumbs cramp up.

The 800mAh LiPo pack that will be included with the BCPP is more than capable of powering a brushless motor with very good performance (it is capable of discharge rates up to 10C continuous). We are currently using the Park 370 4100kv inrunner brushless motor and 8-tooth pinion with excellent results (more on this optional setup will be on our site next week...the stock model includes a brushed 370 motor with 9-tooth pinion and heatsink). As a note, we find most people prefer to use lower capacity, lighter weight packs in the BCP (both with brushed and brushless motors) for the best possible aerobatic performance. I have not flown packs any larger than 730-900mAh in my BCPs for over a year now as I much prefer the response and disk loading of the lighter weight packs (as do many others).

BTW - this model is itended for experienced pilots only as it will state on the box, in the manual and in all marketing materials.

Belt driven tail drive systems are generally more complicated and higher weight. While true that they do offer advantages in tail response over the motor driven tail, they are not neccessarily the best choice for relatively lightweight/simple micro class heli models like the the BCPP. The belt drive tail would also require a more powerful main motor (likely brushless) which would significantly impact the package price.

That said, the BCPP is unique in that it allows for plug-and-play upgrade to a heading lock gyro using the stock radio system. When using a heading lock gyro, the motor driven tail of the BCPP actually performs quite well. It holds suprisingly well during stationary flips, backward flight and more.

I was thinking of upgrading to a blade CP, would I be better off getting the Pro then? Also can anyone tell me what the DD upgrade is?

anyone know where i can get my hands on a 3-in-1 from the pro? or do i have to wait for the pro's release?

oh ent007 what are you ungrading from? and the dd tail is a direct drive tail that has a stronger tail motor that is directly connected to the tail blades

Hey guys,

I've also been flying the 3S TP 730's for close to a year now. So for me the 800 MAH 3S pack that comes with the new BCPP is going to be fine. I prefer the lighter AUW this heli has with the smaller packs. I get at least 10 mins of flying per pack and I'd say from experience that the new BCPP should get that much too.

My brushless BCP has the 4100KV motor 8 tooth pinion and the 3S 730 MAH pack. IT has plenty of power!

Thanks JASON for the continued hard work.

Best Regards,
