Hi Guys

I flew my Evo 90 option heli today....what a machine

I changed a few things, it now has the 8,45:1 gear ratio and the Eagle 3 one piece engine mount and the ali. canopy mounts.

I equiped it with a YS 91 and a Hatori 937 muffled and Futaba 9255 servos x 3 and a 601 / 9251 gyro combo and a 9254 on the throttle. (still waiting for the GV1...) The blades are SAB 224's (710mm) and SAB 95mm tail blades.

The machine is absolutly amaizing. It feels so light and agile on the controles.

Thought I would just share my excitement with you guys.

Paul

Ps I still love my 2 x EX2 FAI machines....they might get a complex.

I took my new EVO 90 out for its 2nd day and gave it a bit harder workout today as well. I really like it. Impressive machine so far. My tail wasn't holding very solid, but I discovered the belt stretched a tad over a couple flights. No big deal, slid the boom out a hair and all better. Decided to go with no weights in the paddles at all this time out, and it does very well in rolls. Nice tight loops. I must have hit the phasing pretty close on setup. There was a good 10 mph or so wind at the field but it was still real steady in a hover even with that. Mines all stock for the US kit. 8:45 ratio with a 2 yr old rebuilt 91 cspec with a perry pump I added later, 9252's on cyclic/pitch, 9202 on throttle and 700mm Mavrikk G4 pro carbons. I'd like it better if I had a 601 or 611 for it, but it seems my 401 will be fine for the time being, till I get a better feel for the heli( and a few more dollars in my pocket). Overall, I'm quite happy so far. I've so missed 90 size heli's. It's good to have one again, especially one this nice.

For those that missed it, vfastr6 is our LHS (that is Local Hirobo Supplier)

Mark, I have a 2 hour turn around and am "waising" it in the bussiness class lounge on RR and having a competition to see which crew member can eat the most bags of chips.....
