My Posts This: Topic Forum | I took my new EVO 90 out for its 2nd day and gave it a bit harder workout today as well. I really like it. Impressive machine so far. My tail wasn't holding very solid, but I discovered the belt stretched a tad over a couple flights. No big deal, slid the boom out a hair and all better. Decided to go with no weights in the paddles at all this time out, and it does very well in rolls. Nice tight loops. I must have hit the phasing pretty close on setup. There was a good 10 mph or so wind at the field but it was still real steady in a hover even with that. Mines all stock for the US kit. 8:45 ratio with a 2 yr old rebuilt 91 cspec with a perry pump I added later, 9252's on cyclic/pitch, 9202 on throttle and 700mm Mavrikk G4 pro carbons. I'd like it better if I had a 601 or 611 for it, but it seems my 401 will be fine for the time being, till I get a better feel for the heli( and a few more dollars in my pocket). Overall, I'm quite happy so far. I've so missed 90 size heli's. It's good to have one again, especially one this nice. |
