Happy Flying!

Man, you don't know how happy this makes me to see all the positive feedback on these videos. I am so glad they can help others get started. The Blade is a great heli to get started with and also a lot of fun to return to even when you end up with a bigger heli.

Best wishes to all and happy flying!!

Just the Information I was looking for!

cyclicpitcher, can't thank you enough. This was just the info I was searching for. Just bought a Blade CP and was disappointed the instructional manual lacked so much information for the first time flier like me and a lot of others. This makes a lot of sense and I think you have helped a lot of Blade CP newbie heli fliers with the information they need. I'm going to let my LHS who sold me mine, know about this. I think this could help a lot of guys. THANKS.

I have a ESKY CP2, and this was very helpful, except for one part.
When he talked about adjusting the pitch curve, he said adjust the linkage between the flybar and the blade grip. on the ESKY, it has a bell-hiller head, and those linkages are fixed. So would I adjust the linkage between swash plate and the flybar?

Also noticed that the head on his heli - even at low RPM was solid. Even with no blades on mine, I can't get it that solid. I have a hardened steel shaft between the blades, and on my rebuild I sanded down the the main shaft so the it slid in the bearings better, and when I put it in a drill it was straight, so does that mean the flybar is off balance?

What goes up must come down, how fast it hits is the question.

Yes you adjust those long pitch links from swash to mixer arms. Also check your spindle and flybar if you have vibrations.

Best thing you can do for your CP2 is to put a set of Compy300 main blades or Freestyle Hobby main blades. They track true. They are also a lot tougher.

Turn on a dime. Flip like a quarter. Feel like a million bucks.
