Whooohoo - smooth flying Andreas!

Cant wait to get mine - it should be at the post office now
How do you think the Logo performes compared to the raptor?

Here is a video of my raptor taken a couple of weeks ago. It was -7C and I lost the feeling in my fingers after 30 seconds...

with the right setup the logo 10 has a little more power as the raptor 50. The cycling is a bit slower but I will work to get this thing rocking, too. I will post if i can get a better cycling rate.

Hi Andreas, could you post your setup? Are you using Tango 45-10? I'd like it if you could post your setup, including servos/gyros/esc etc =)

Hey Lorrents gj there man! I enjoyed your vid, as well as Andreas vid to .

Funny hearing a nitro, the good ol Raptor. I still got mine too, it is now my beating machine and my victim for new moves.

...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...

Thanks Shawn!

The raptor is a good work horse, but if my Logos work out like I plan I'll probably sell it with all my nitro accessories this spring and go e-power only

Hi Andreas,

Can you say wich headspeed you're running in the movie?
Wich size of pinion do you use and how long are your flighttimes with that EVO 20 3700 Lipo pack?

Regards,
Gio.

Holy back from the dead thread. The last reply was like 3 years ago. To convert a Logo 10 to mod .07 gears you have to change the pinion, the main gear, and the tail drive gear. I did this on my L10 when I stretched it to a 550. I am now running mod .01 gears from a Century Swift because they are much cheaper than the Mikado .07 gears. If you want to do that conversion you need the pinion, main , and tail gears, plus the 2 bearings for the tail gear. The mod .07 are much stronger than the .05s. I believe the mod .01 will be stronger yet.

This is great. I did not realized you can actually use some logo 14 parts for logo 10.

Thanks for the advice.

You can also get a longer tailboom and belt and run 550 size blades. I did this and I like it so much better now as a 550 than as a 500(Not that it was bad before by any means)

i believe this is what you need to run 550's

http://www.readyheli.com/MIK2769_Ta...0_p/mik2769.htm

though i have not done it, i'd sure like to entertain the idea..

Yes that's what you need to run 550s. It really flies much "larger" with the 550s. For cheaper Tail booms you can get the ones from the Esky Esmart. Carbon boom is $18 aluminum is $4-5. This can save you a good amount over buying the Mikado booms.
